SPOKANE, Wash. -- Miracle Bonus Mothers of Multiples, a Spokane-based support group for moms of twins, triplets or more, will host "Merry Christmas to You," the club's annual Soup Buffet and Holiday Auction on Saturday, Nov. 8 beginning at 4:30 p.m.

The event provides a social evening out while allowing people to cross items off the Christmas shopping list.

"This is our third year hosting the event," said Jennifer Larson, co-president of Miracle Bonus. "We continue to receive rave reviews, which is why this has blossomed into a club tradition. We welcome the community to join us for this evening of fun!"

This year's event will take place at Millwood Presbyterian Church, 3223 N. Marguerite Rd., in the Spokane Valley. Doors open at 4:30 p.m.; the auction begins at 5:30 p.m.

The evening will feature raffle items, silent auctions and dollar auctions of top-notch items, including restaurant gift cards, family outings, birthday party packages, symphony tickets, golf packages and much more. A live auctioneer also will be on hand to auction off delicious pies.

Open to the public, tickets are $3 each, or a table for eight may be purchased for $20. Cost includes the homemade soup buffet. Tickets may be purchased in advance by calling (509) 325-2425 or at the door.

This annual fundraiser helps Miracle Bonus provide a variety of services to its members, including bringing in educational speakers, social events, holiday outings for children, camp assistance programs, college scholarships and association travel funds. The organization also provides outreach support to other organizations.

Founded in Spokane in the late 1950s as a nonprofit club, Miracle Bonus members aim to support, learn and grow from other MOMs' experiences. The group shares educational materials, ideas and equipment, and promotes friendships and social activities among MOMs and their children. Miracle Bonus also awards scholarships to high school graduates, as wells as MOMs, to support advanced education opportunities.

The club is open to Mothers of Multiples from all over Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho, and is a member of the Northwest Association of Mothers of Twins Clubs. Members hail from all over the greater Spokane area and outlying areas, including Liberty Lake, Cheney, Spangle, Waverly, Desert Aire and Moscow, Idaho.
